I am so pleased and proud of this new addition to the Art page! Capucine has once again taken time to make this beautiful gift for all of us. This one is for Aearlinn and was inspired by Elrond's explanation of how he saved Legolas' life after the Orc attack. Even if you haven't read any of Aearlinn, you cannot help but be drawn to the beauty of this image. Elrond, so regal and so very handsome, protectively cradling Legolas against his chest. The wild elf looks to be in dire straights but so lovely to behold! That look in Elrond's eyes, I just don't know how she gets such expressions to come through! I haven't seen a painting of Elrond I like so much as this one; he is just delicious and of course Legolas is going to fall in love with him as soon as he looks into those eyes! Don't you love the details in purple on that half-open tunic? And the lock of braided hair draped over his chest, and the eyebrows!
