This is one of the most romantic and thrilling images of impassioned elves I have seen. It is something in the way they are yearning for this union and yet still holding back, making it last as long as possible. Look at the line of the heads, each one bent forward to meet the other's in a lingering kiss, just at the moment when their bodies are about to be joined as one. This magnificent picture is by Nellas of Doriath and if you have not seen this artist's other work, you are in for a real treat. I love photo manipulations but there is something about an original work that truly holds me in awe. It is perhaps that some part of the artist comes into the picture; we are permitted a view of another's heart and soul when we see a work of such as this.
