Feud is a dark tale of Legolas' life in Greenwood before the Ring Quest. It is filled with pain and angst, depicting Legolas as an outcast on many levels: within his family due to his parents' many flaws, within the community because of the status attached to his position and his dubious parentage, and finally from all Elven society as a result of three deaths during the Battle of the Five Armies for which he was blamed. Through it all, Legolas strives to remain true to a set if internal values which define his nature.
Aearlinn - A Song of the Sea

By bonding with him and sharing the light of his soul, Elrond saves Legolas from certain death by poisoned wounds. The proud ruler of Imladris is not happy to find himself drawing ever closer to falling in true love with his reluctant consort. Legolas, despite his doubts and fears, loses his heart to the Noldorin Lord and conceives a child by him. Events intrude that cast into sharp relief the faint gleam of Elrond's feelings and Legolas despairs to reveal what he has done. The twins arrive to separate the two, despising the bonding they were forced to witness.

Love blossoms between the unlikely couple as the great events of the ring War are about to unfold. Features Legolas as Thranduil's love child rather than a legitimate heir.

PLEASE PAY HEED!
This story has Elrohir behaving especially evil and cruel, so if you cannot abide that kind of thing just DO NOT read this! Seriously, my friends, I do not want anyone angry and depressed over xmas. Also, Elrond is seriously mean, too. There is non-con and some abusive sex also. It all works out eventually but getting there might be a very rough read for some folks. Ok, that said, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! Hope this meets your expectations, mellon, and hope everyone else enjoys it, too:)

Naledi asked for a chapter of Cuthenin dedicated to her and I am so happy to do it. Of course, it was supposed to be done by Christmas (and thus the gift theme) but now it is February, hence the Valentines design. For the long delay, my apologies. I thought this was going to be fun, light-hearted, and easy to write, but it just did not follow my hopes. Though the story is not complete yet, nor even the ideas mentioned here, I simply must end this instalment. I hope you can forgive me and that this meets everyone's expectations. As to the story, I combined a couple of ideas I had and hopefully still kept this within the proper timeline thus far. We get to see Legolas interacting with other members of the Fellowship here and, of course, with Glorfindel. ;) Enjoy!

Lethe Lloyd requested an xmas story about Elladan encountering Maglor, and here is my take on that. Well, here it is spring and finally the story posts. I am sorry about the long wait and sincerely hope everyone else enjoys it, too. The year is Third Age 425. Celebrian and Elrond are happily ruling Imladris, their daughter Arwen newly come of age and off on her first protracted stay in Lothlorien. Glorfindel is still in Aman. Arantar rules in Arnor; Ostoher rules in Gondor. The lands of Eriador are at peace; in fact the whole of Arda rests after the victory over Sauron at the Last Alliance. Elladan is just two-hundred-ninety-five years old.

A woman, convinced by family lore that she is a descendant of one of the Blue Wizards, invades the land of Valinor to confront the missing Maia. She encounters all the Tolkien characters she has so long loved and discovers something about herself she has long denied and buried from memory. Written for one of the MPA contests, not as an entry but as a contribution to the awards presentations. I quite like this piece, for it has captured very neatly many aspects of one of the spirits in my blended soul. It is also the story that inspired Meril Thafn.
